This verse is about a group of Makkan idolators who kept asking from a sign from their lord in haste and this verse is just simply saying to that specific group that the Qur’an itself is a sign from a Lord and a miracle, he did perform miracles in the Qur’an and our other traditions. We still have the other dialects, he just ordered it to be burned because Islam was spreading and it would be easier to get non Arabs to learn one dialect, however we still have the 7 other dialects preserved through oral tradition and they don’t contradict in meaning.
