Gab is a platform of principle, if you give away pre-made lists you're already not being neutral anymore

And that's the problem.

I don't mind if there's the option to censor for others.

I can handle quite a bit.

I don't expect this for others.

I feel like gab is a reaction to social media censorship, and has corned themselves in terms of business strategy to attract new users.

Not everyone cares about free speech, as much as I'd hate to say it.

Again, it will be interesting to see how Gab evolves.

I don't have to support a business just because it agrees with my views, and I can support a business that doesn't support my views on principle of acceptable business by the laws of the land.

Convenience vs Principle

And I think the hot topics provide an incredibly engaging way to entice people to voice themselves in ways twitter doesn't have

but whether gab ever takes off into the mainstream is another question entirely
