or am I confused
yep
nice
you could make hundreds of villagers and transform em w a god power to ragnarok warriors
where?
if you don't mind me asking
nice
@Deleted User All of those ancient cultures exchanged gods, that’s how they all ended up with so many, they would just adopt them into your current pantheon because who knows, maybe praying to that god could provide something your current pantheon lacks.
And then the Greeks also believed in syncretism
Mixing of different religions together
an often forgotten part of the regions history
Ya
I assume most Jews would know about that
It's really all about water management
This is what Hanuka is about
Kinda
yeah, but everyone forgets specifically about Samaria itself
Fertile soil from water and minerals
Wheat grew wild here also
cool
If you go to a water aqueduct museum place, they show how it affects civilization and population growth
Pretty cool stuff
I think the great pyramid could've been like a giant water reservoir or something
meratrix do you know of Dan Carlin's hardcore history podcast?
I always recommend it to people who appreciate history
You should check out his king of kings series
no, but I’ll check it out
That one was amazing and it's close to that period, it's about the same area
Oh yeah I forgot about those, it's really good @meratrix
Actually I think it is about that period exactly
I think he starts that far back
It's like a lot of history and exciting bits packed into something easy to consume
There you go, I urge you to check it out
He has a lot of great stuff but I think you'll appreciate this episode especially
That one is on the Sumerians or what?
I think he mentions them a bit but it's mostly about the assyrians, babylonians, persians, and all stuff that revolves around them
It's a series so he goes on until the period of Alexander
I think it's a total of north to 9 hours just for the king of kings series
