There is a problem with question asking culture to be honest in events like that. It should be a bit more systematic and maybe audience driven.
Something like "ask anything" and then questions which get most likes and traction get asked by someone from the staff.
Now some people ask question just to make them seem cool. Not their fault really.
There are numerous ways to weed out people who ask questions like that. Apparently nothing was done to avoid them, and we were rewarded with facepalm moments as a result.
@Omsomething At We Are Devs, they had an App called Slido for that.
Most up-voted questions got asked. Works well.
