Fascists say GDP is VERY IMPORTANT, but not as important as the Nation and People which have to be preserved
eg
thus thats why people say both Communist and Capitalist see the world as economic units (communists as economic classes, capitalists as economic units) -whereas Fascist see a nation and people as a sum of their traditions, heritage history etc
and economics comes second....
As a fan of economics, I've always hated when people fetishize GDP.
What if people don't want to be preserved?
It says nothing about the well being of citizens.
It was a reaction to the capitalist oligarchs....of course, capitalists and commies won that war...so consumerism, materialism won
traditionalism lost
You have to look at development of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, ... This is not a bad indicator.
You're putting tradition above freedom of choice @Deleted User
... among others.
So some say that "Nazis lost a war not an academic debate"
No, freedom of choice is a slogan, its not unbounded by laws and morals anywhere
It's just as dangerous as stating people's value before showing their worth or merit.
Youre sloganeering
"muh freedom"
You're gaslighting
They are not invited to debates, because the guys who tried it, failed miserably with bad outcome (to put it mildly).
You can't hold a serious argument
No, its a matter of degree
@Deleted User So am I right in believing your brand of fascism would never do away with money, or seize great amounts of taxes or appropriate people's property for government programs?
you're arguing from an extreme
NO one is saying end markets
or end ability to choose products
or whatever you burgers call freedom
"ford or chevy"
You're assuming your opposing view before that view explains itself. You're pretty bad at debating.
but, its something else
Setting yourself up for failure.
Right... you see, when someone says to me that they're perfectly in favor of free markets and low interference of government in private business, then to me that's saying that you're a radical capitalist. It seems to be a semantic issue.
Again, the forces of fascism exist in American society, they just need to be elaborated
no, not "free" markets
Directed markets
but still markets
not abolition of property
regulated markets
Oh. So the state will be in charge of what people do with their property and money, and will, at their discretion, change how you behave with it?
regulated with an eye to protecting tradition in a world that leftist are trying to subvert it
@Deleted User cares more about winning a conversation that having an equal footing with other people.
