Here's my thing

I'm on the Steven universe ride because I want to see how it ends

I stopped really caring about the show in a fan-sense loooong ago

I remember someone watching season one while I was on the comp in the same room as them

It's just another decent show with a cute art style that got hijacked by SJWs on tumblr

And thinking 'huh, this actually made me laugh, I guess it's not too bad'

And then I found out more and more about the show

The show picks the hell up in season 2 and on ward

and the fandom

and the creator

and I was like 'ohhhhhhh *noooooo*'

I know nothing about it

I enjoy the show myself, but I don’t bother with the rabid fan base.

Guess I'm good

I just wish they released more than two episodes a year.

We used to have weekly episode releases, at most a month or two of waiting

but now we get shit like a literal six months of no episodes, followed by five at once, and then nothing again

whatever pacing the writers tried to write has been raped to death by that
