But we have huge largely unpatrolled roads so we mostly street race
I have 3 tracks (ALT Tsukude, Mikawa Motor Land, Mihama) within ~40 minutes drive, and there's a GymKhanna course about 3 minutes away, and a rally stage about 50 minutes away
Stoplight drag races are very common
This was at Tsukude
Yea unless you have a ton of money you can't really race herry
Here
hahah Tsukude is like $70 for a 5 hour pack on special

Russia: We're on our way to ban the internet.
EU: Hold my beer.```
my profile shot is actaully form Suzuka
was just a free run, not an actual lap

r u ok Putin?
Every now and then, people need to remember how far ahead Putin's Russia is on issues like suppressing speech
well some of that speech was surely hate speech so I'm sure it's all very progressive
More annoying, as this video points out, is how Western media (you know, the ones who have been 'ooo spooky evil Russia, Putin baaaaad') have also been dogpiling on Telegram too
Some dude got arrested (and I think wound up under house arrest) for playing Pokemon Go in a church
Which, from a memetic perspective, is funny enough, but legit dystopian in actual practise
^^
I thought he got a prison sentence
He did, but I think he wound up serving it stuck in his house, or something like that
I remember footage of armed guards shuttling him to and from his apartment
General responses I saw from priests (not in Russia) was, "just don't hunt Pokemon during mass."
weird
They take their religion more seriously over there than you'd expect
Not in Russia.
Also if you want to hold an anti-government protest, you can, but you have to apply with the city you live in, and if the city approves you're pretty much gauranteed that you'll be having your little protest right on the edge of the city limits, not in the town square
Yeah, that's the smart way to suppress dissent
If you're Orthodox, Russia takes it seriously
If you're not Orthodox, there's a good chance you're fucked
*rummage*
I'm glad they take their own stuff seriously
not to the point of punishing people for speaking out against it
that's fucked
it's the sort of thing we're fighting against in the west
