Any economic system used by humans will get exploited
you mean working in a factory
@Omsomething, agreed. ANd no. Minimum wage is not capitalism; neither is Federal Banking
yes
bring back child labor
You'd need two jobs, at least, full-time.
No, minimum wage is an intervention in the market. It's neither socialism nor capitalism
What is labpr
@Omsomething, we haven't had capitalism in over 50 yrs
your mother gay
This is the point a lot of people are talking about "socialism bad!" and then stating "people can get education with their minium wage!"
Although I am an advocate of not allowing inheritance
capatalism has bright more people out of poverty than any other system
Sheesh
@Deleted User no u
The United States doesn't have capitalism? What are you talking about? The US is ranked 15th of over 200 nations in economic freedom
It has capitalism
I saw that @Deleted User
@LotheronPrime, true; but even the best system could stand some improvement overtime
It has capitalist systems, yes. Currently, however, there are problems that have arisen.
i.e., a mixed economy
And what’s a better system @Maw ?
school is supposed to teach people how to think and yet nowadays it is just indoctrination
My main point is: People should define what they mean when they say "hurdur socialism bad!" better.
No better system, but there are better ways to implement certain things. Some things need regulation and the like.
@LotheronPrime I.e. teaching what to think instead of how
safety nets are good
Pinko
@Grant, the US has no such thing; it is 'neo-capitalism' where the interest rate is artifically held low and people HOARD capital rather than if they do nothing, they LOSE capital
do you think elon musk is hoarding money? Or really anyone on wallstreet?
Bring back the monarchy
They're investors
democracy was a lie
They invest capital
minarchy
Elon is just one dude though
@Grant, the mOMENT you manipulate the interest rate, you have underminded the market mechanism
US stock market cap is currently 137% of GDP, so yeah there's definitely significant investment in the economy
To be honest US should do the reasonable thing and become vassal to the Nordic Council.
100% free market is bad though too
