your mother gay

2018-07-01 22:29:56 UTC

This is the point a lot of people are talking about "socialism bad!" and then stating "people can get education with their minium wage!"

2018-07-01 22:29:58 UTC

Although I am an advocate of not allowing inheritance

2018-07-01 22:29:59 UTC

capatalism has bright more people out of poverty than any other system

2018-07-01 22:30:00 UTC

Sheesh

2018-07-01 22:30:01 UTC
2018-07-01 22:30:14 UTC

The United States doesn't have capitalism? What are you talking about? The US is ranked 15th of over 200 nations in economic freedom

2018-07-01 22:30:19 UTC

It has capitalism

2018-07-01 22:30:24 UTC

I saw that @Deleted User

2018-07-01 22:30:38 UTC

@LotheronPrime, true; but even the best system could stand some improvement overtime

2018-07-01 22:30:42 UTC

It has capitalist systems, yes. Currently, however, there are problems that have arisen.

2018-07-01 22:30:43 UTC

The US is nominally capitalistic, but not entirely so. There are interventions in the free market

2018-07-01 22:30:58 UTC

i.e., a mixed economy

2018-07-01 22:30:59 UTC

And what’s a better system @Maw ?

2018-07-01 22:31:04 UTC

school is supposed to teach people how to think and yet nowadays it is just indoctrination

2018-07-01 22:31:16 UTC

My main point is: People should define what they mean when they say "hurdur socialism bad!" better.

2018-07-01 22:31:25 UTC

No better system, but there are better ways to implement certain things. Some things need regulation and the like.

2018-07-01 22:31:25 UTC

@LotheronPrime I.e. teaching what to think instead of how

2018-07-01 22:31:26 UTC

safety nets are good

2018-07-01 22:31:28 UTC

Pinko

2018-07-01 22:31:31 UTC

@Grant, the US has no such thing; it is 'neo-capitalism' where the interest rate is artifically held low and people HOARD capital rather than if they do nothing, they LOSE capital

2018-07-01 22:31:52 UTC

do you think elon musk is hoarding money? Or really anyone on wallstreet?

2018-07-01 22:31:55 UTC

Bring back the monarchy

2018-07-01 22:31:59 UTC

They're investors

2018-07-01 22:32:01 UTC

democracy was a lie

2018-07-01 22:32:04 UTC

They invest capital

2018-07-01 22:32:08 UTC

minarchy

2018-07-01 22:32:08 UTC

Elon is just one dude though

2018-07-01 22:32:10 UTC

@Grant, the mOMENT you manipulate the interest rate, you have underminded the market mechanism

2018-07-01 22:32:28 UTC

US stock market cap is currently 137% of GDP, so yeah there's definitely significant investment in the economy

2018-07-01 22:32:29 UTC

To be honest US should do the reasonable thing and become vassal to the Nordic Council.

2018-07-01 22:32:34 UTC

100% free market is bad though too

2018-07-01 22:32:47 UTC

lol

2018-07-01 22:32:53 UTC

@Grant, it doesn't mean that 'investors' or 'capitalist' cannot exist in the broken system; but the system as a whole doesn't fuction as capitalism SHOULD

2018-07-01 22:32:53 UTC

Piss off @Omsomething

2018-07-01 22:33:04 UTC

Most people in the 1% have a large, large amount of money sitting around and not circulating. Now, I'm not sure how you'd solve that in any sort of reasonable way, but that's for economists to really sit down and think about.

2018-07-01 22:33:28 UTC

it's actually quite hard to spend a ton of money

2018-07-01 22:33:28 UTC
2018-07-01 22:33:34 UTC

do you have sources? @Maw

2018-07-01 22:33:37 UTC

There are many instances where you're making way more than you could ever actually reasonably spend.

2018-07-01 22:33:39 UTC
