@Deleted User, also libertarian... but again, pragmatic
I am a Imperialist
I'm not the one who made that claim, animal
Grant, you do not consider people not being able to afford schooling, medical care as "not failing"?
I'm not saying to get rid of the state, just that you don't need it to help people , and it sucks at helping people
Capitalism is good in theory but it can become corrupted like most forms of socialism, and capitalism as it exists is being corrupted. It's not monolithic. Capitalism is definitely better in terms of freedoms and your money goes further.
@Deleted User, the state is like a calculator; garbage in garbage out
If you're earning minimum wage in the united states, you can afford schooling and medical care
A lot of people could be succesfull if given basic schooling and opportunities in life.
Not public or private unis, but colleges
"Minium wage" is capitalism?
No

You'd need two jobs, at least, full-time.
No, minimum wage is an intervention in the market. It's neither socialism nor capitalism

@Omsomething, we haven't had capitalism in over 50 yrs
your mother gay
This is the point a lot of people are talking about "socialism bad!" and then stating "people can get education with their minium wage!"
Although I am an advocate of not allowing inheritance
capatalism has bright more people out of poverty than any other system
Sheesh
@Deleted User no u
The United States doesn't have capitalism? What are you talking about? The US is ranked 15th of over 200 nations in economic freedom
It has capitalism
I saw that @Deleted User
@LotheronPrime, true; but even the best system could stand some improvement overtime
It has capitalist systems, yes. Currently, however, there are problems that have arisen.
The US is nominally capitalistic, but not entirely so. There are interventions in the free market
