The ADD/ADHD meds situation is even worse
Children as young as 3 years old are prescribed meds that have been proven in multiple studies to permanently alter their brain chemistry and affect their behavior for the rest of their lives, and the misdiagnosis rate for ADD is the highest of any disorder
In fact there are no scientific tests for ADD or ADHD, diagnoses are done based on symptoms alone
Many of these meds are identical to methamphetamine when it hits your system
how so?
This is why I give absolutely no weight to the opinion that "street drugs" are somehow objectively bad and possess no medical use but being prescribed the same shit or worse by a doctor is somehow legitimate

I'm not such which drug it was I believe it was Ritalin but it turns into the same active ingredients as meth just at a lower dose
I just read some about it, I was gonna say great, because I took concerta and not ritalin, but concerta is just the same fucking thing under a different name so fuck me.

I stopped taking it two years ago.
Then I caught someone in my dorm using it after they stole it from me and I almost fucking killed him.
I was switched to straterra but I think I was on Ritalin as a kid
He used it like Adderall cause it has those effects when you take half the fucking bottle, which he did.

Dunno. They put my body on a bunch of drugs when he was a kid cuz he started talking kinda late. And now he’s kinda slow.
