Anyway, just musing.
Big soy did it
Its in the dictionary
Look it up
Think about it. Muslims dont eat pork or half of a cow. Perfect tofu shills
9/11 didn't mean shit to me, tbh.
Probably because I was in 4th grade.
I was a baby. Still oblivious to the world dominated by big soy and its puppets
Historically speaking, from an academic standpoint, 9/11 meant an opportunity for neocons/libs to use a tragic event for a power grab and subversion of the US constitution.
I saw it on TV in the UK. Walked into the lounge when it was on and thought it was an action movie at first XP
Like when a movie has a fake news broadcast in it

I'd imagine seeing the world trade center destroyed in a terrorist attack on TV really would seem like a scene from a movie. You probably weren't the only one who though that at first
I would've been 15 at the time
Considering it *was* a scene in a couple of movies by that point
I was 4
Almost 5
I was born at the same moment the bloody challenger exploded in '86
ewwww, gen yer
Gen X?
nah
I like getting older though, little bit less full of shite every year
Shut up, ya boomer
Haha

I wouldn't be so concerned
Two generations ago most men lived through seeing their friends blown up
Go back the generations and each one had considerably more war in it. Never mind seeing it on the telly.
Compare parenting now vs then and you will see a root cause
^
Psychopathy is a word that shouldn't be used lightly or it'll lose its meaning
I would argue this is the first western generation without any real, big life or death consequences
I'd say that rather than people becoming more desensitised that the opposite is happening. People are becoming more sensitive. Too sensitive.
Or rather that abilities to cope are being eroded
They won't *want* kids
Gen z will be sterile at this rate
All according to plan
Rubs hands
One encouraging sign though is that the youngest generations are more Conservative in attitude than their parents, rejecting a lot of the social justice twaddle.
@Durtle02 My uncle teaches. He had to retire several years early, because he was getting death threats from middle school aged children, and *parents* REGULARLY.
*He's a fucking gradeschool music teacher.*
But that is history in general, a swinging of the pendulum from one generation or two to the next.
