@Dwarforn hence why I never identify as LGBT or associate with those types of people
I'm here with center right shitposters instead
Leftism only refers to economic views... <:thronk:441701565607444482>
But it isn't culture
Was just gonna ask what I had to do to get permission to post pictures, but I see you're busy atm
How are learned things not cultural?
You justr level up
keep posting
Okey doke, thx
You don't "learn" how to be gay I knew for sure I was gay 5 years before I ever even met another gay person and I had zero exposure to "gay culture", and that isn't a rare sentiment
But it can be argued as culture 1/10 men in Brazil identify as gay
@starrfoxx123 the missing factor there is the number of bisexual people who identify as gay rather than straight
culture effects environment, like culture can mean that it is more acceptable to be an overbearing mother so hence more gay people
but that is indirect i guess
Historically bisexual people have simply stuck to heterosexual relationships but now that homosexuality isn't a big no no more of them are identifying as gay, especially those who are predominantly attracted to the same sex
Bi people are self-aware gays <:think_woke:378717098681171988>
@Durtle02 like what? Do you mean peer pressure or larger cultural trends?
I'd worry less about the science of these things so much as how they're applied to certain institutions.
@radeon I made that point earlier. In that study it said that 60% of gay people were not genetic, and my response was that these people are probably Bi
this is interesting
we rarely have large discussions between each other like this
its mostly against gay commies that infiltrate
The thing about being gay is that no matter how progressive or not your family/friends are, you never expect to be gay growing up because you're surrounded by people who simply assume you're gonna end up straight, since most people are
Also there are ***way*** more bisexual people than most people realize, including themselves sometimes
Yes but that’s assuming you grew up in a “normal” family
@Durtle02 yes and more bisexual people discover they're bisexual and historically it's not rare for gay people to never realize they're gay(or simply deny it) and live unhappy lives in a heterosexual relationship
If you grow up in one of these mental progressive family you logic becomes irrelevant as all logic left the room from the start
@radeon it depends on your body language, you can find some really over the top people. The two ive come into contact with are just general people who live normal lives, but the media always likes to portray the overtly effeminate ones as the norm
Yea which I hate because the overwhelming majority of gay people aren't like that myself and all the gays I know included
Everyone should live in an unhappy marriage, *as God intended.*
Loud minority vs silent majority, it's the same with most groups.
At least now that the gays stay out of hetero relationships they will grow smaller in population percentage every year
Yes that's what I was talking about
I think my co-worker is gay. Idk though, cause he just bought a house and kept talking on the phone with some other dude about finalizing the purchase
The culture doesn't make them gay it just makes more people who otherwise would never know discover that part of their sexuality
That is why i asked about a gene or some sort of evidence outside of self reported polls
which are not the best measures of accuracy
Looks let’s bring it to this let bygones be bygones. If people want to roger each other let them, it’s not for us to get involved
