ive been to some cons too. delightfully bizarre. being in a huge hotel with 6 foot fluffy things bouncing about, artists everywhere, people playing tabletop games and dancing, getting drunk and having a laugh. no violence or bullshit. sometimes there are a couple of assholes who do something moronic, but how would that be prevented anyway? either way it's a lot safer and more interesting than going out at night into town to go to clubs and bars.
