If the government backs off, this just leads to more corruption
I agree with Tim Pool on the method. The Chinese fingertrap problem, often the solution is counterintuitive
We need a safety net.
Do we?
I'm not arguing against that
Who should provide that safety net?
I think the ACA and healthcare regulations make the product far more expensive
Our current government isn’t to be trusted with certain issues, is that your guys issue? Or you just don’t want government intervention AT ALL?
or whats left of it
the last one
oof
That’s pretty libertarian
yes
lol no shit
Minarchist
@drydad I think it's hard to define but when i look at nationalist parties the common theme is rooted in collectivism. Maybe i'd define it as loyalty to the state surpass individual rights. (Britannica definition)
More economic
Hmm, the government being involved in the economy just makes things worse for nearly everyone
Can I give an example?
You're going to anyways lol
The least responsible entity in this entire conversation is the govt when it comes to spending
I like using this as a good way to explain the governments intervention in the economy
You can only have 2 of these 3
And thats your choice
Cost can even decrease.
Medicare, medicaid set market values for insurnace pay outs
@M4Gunner you’re mistaking my argument. I think the government should get involved to help people who lose their jobs due to big businesses moving their countries to places like China. Or even Walmart not paying their workers a livable wage, firing those who join unions, they even encouraged employees to get food stamps at one point
@Werlf pride in your nation is a sentiment, I'd just call that patriotism and not nationalism
How?
Nope
