Looks like internal damage was actually relatively minimal. From what I saw it looked like most of it was the external roof and steeple burning and a relatively small section of the internal vault ceiling collapsing.

That good honestly if it’s fixable I’m happy (I’m not religious but it’s a beautiful building and seeing a historical building collapse just sucks especially such a notable one)
The overhead photos of the fire looked pretty bad, but turns out the vaulting architecture provided an internal bubble from the burning roof timbers, so for the most part the interior is fine
Still sketchy on what to do with the 250 tons of melted lead used to make the roof though

I think I heard they were in the process of removing it with this renovation, but there was a lead sheath covering the actual wooden roof of the church
