Oh.. no...
win7 was best
I won't change to Win 10 until 15 january 2020
*yea I checked,* **p h e w**
The next Windows will probably be good again.
They have a bad and good one every second release.
That's because it takes one and a half releases to make a proper windows.
You could change to.... Linux
for me win 10 have been just fine.
So the bugs of the last one aren't fixed until one release later.
I'm using Linux mostly. But the drivers are still worse.
I would love to be wrong about that one day.
But GPU performance and newest features always come to Windows first.
I don't want to buy an expensive NVidia GPU just to not be able to use it fully for CUDA and Tensforflow and so forth.
Find me a setup that is just as fast under Linux and I'll happily buy that.
Thats above my paygrade, but I'm glad you do your research
It's above your paygrade to buy a computer with a GPU?
I'm sorry to hear that.
Do they lock you in the basement?
Blink twice if they are giving you adequate food and water.

Damn software upgrades... I just upgraded my Samplitude Pro to the X4 Suite and now my MIDI settings don't work.
- oh well, time to spend the rest of the day working out what the feck has changed.
I've never used Samplitude, but it's been around since the Amiga days, from what I know.
Oh, great software - a bit pricey but the most stable one for PC when working with midi
I can't wait to have more time to work with audio again.
work/play
But don't they all have MIDI support?
It's one of the most basic audio standards you can think of, no?
Something like Reaper is easier to learn, but not quite as stable
You mean it crashes?
yes, Samplitude is the best for not crashing
and it has the best midi editing too
That's kind of sad. You'd think they would have that figured out after 27 years.
sorry - no - Samplitude does not crash... the others do
I never had Ableton or Cubase crash on me.
