2019-06-23 13:42:25 UTC

doesn't sound too bad tho

2019-06-23 13:44:25 UTC

i wondered @Tero cuz a good amount of ppl are aware of the crisis, u don't think some ppl would intentionally spark the civil war? It wouldn't take too much, especially when the divide's getting bigger everyday

2019-06-23 13:46:35 UTC

not really
much as soy boys and cuckservatives might despise each other, neither really seem like they want to kill the other enough just yet

2019-06-23 13:46:55 UTC

2019-06-23 13:48:13 UTC

2019-06-23 13:48:49 UTC

they're a pretty tiny minority tho, imo

2019-06-23 13:49:03 UTC

ye i didnt know how big they are actually

2019-06-23 13:49:25 UTC

i guess they're gaining numbers way too slowly still

2019-06-23 13:49:49 UTC

most people in the US are either normie boomer cuckservatives or disaffected libtards

2019-06-23 13:50:03 UTC

rip

2019-06-23 13:50:51 UTC

neither group is really interest in armed conflict unless they don't get their daily bread and circuses

2019-06-23 13:51:46 UTC

which, to their credit, tptb are good at providing

2019-06-23 13:53:45 UTC

pretty difficult to convince anyone who feels physically safe and materially secure to give that up and go to war with their countrymen πŸ˜…

2019-06-23 13:54:58 UTC

true, what probably will spark true unrest is a outside event. like a democrat run city ends up being a fucked over by a pandemic

2019-06-23 13:55:11 UTC

ye

2019-06-23 13:56:24 UTC

it insane how fast a city will collapse if the support structure gets disrupted

2019-06-23 15:34:21 UTC

I think you could argue that the economic nightmare Germany faced after WW1 does make their resentment and desire for revenge understandable. I can see why many Germans would see war as the only way to improve things. It's shortsighted and foolish but, I can at least understand it. I don't think that would justify hostilities, not even close, but it does give context.

2019-06-23 15:34:59 UTC

A lot of people didn't know the full scope of Hitler's ambition

2019-06-23 15:35:18 UTC

They thought he would just get back the Polish parts and Northern Schleswig and leave it at that

2019-06-23 15:36:34 UTC

Right. But then again the headline is why HITLER had to start WWII. Not the Germans as a whole. So I think I disagree on that basis with the video, though I haven't watched it. Hitler had no redeeming or justifying, humanizing goals in starting war.

2019-06-23 15:36:39 UTC

If it hadn't been Hitler it would've been someone else

2019-06-23 15:37:03 UTC

It may have been someone way less insane.

2019-06-23 15:37:40 UTC

Who genuinely just felt that being blamed for WWI was fucked and wanted to force the Allies to right that wrong.

2019-06-23 15:38:25 UTC

That would be awful in terms of the cost of human life and suffering but at least the reasoning would have been... Acceptable.

2019-06-23 15:38:42 UTC

Not evil.

2019-06-23 15:40:39 UTC

I believe that resource wars are a very human thing. To act like they're an evil thing is to ignore humanity. A war of ideology and racial supremacy? That is evil.

2019-06-23 15:41:08 UTC

They can be natural and human and still be evil

2019-06-23 15:41:26 UTC

Yes. But we can at least understand them.

2019-06-23 15:41:40 UTC

If the Jews had been killed for economic reasons, like the Indians at Wounded Knee, I doubt they would feel much better about it

2019-06-23 15:41:41 UTC

You know?

2019-06-23 15:42:51 UTC

That isn't what I meant. I don't think there is ever a circumstance in which ethnic genocide is an economic solution to a problem. Conquering territory is usually what comes to mind.

2019-06-23 15:44:29 UTC

Anti-semitic rhetoric was common in pre-Nazi Germany, even before Hitler joined the nazi party.

2019-06-23 15:44:31 UTC

If these people have a kind of intuitive solidarity with each other and can thus put up a consistent effort to prevent you from extracting resources from the territory then genocide is usually the solution that comes to mind for the conquerors
