If, when choosing your gender, you go for "other", you become an attack helicopter. The freaking sprite is so stupid it's just brilliant.

Bingo.
Because space magic.
this game looks fucking awesome
An og-DOOM clone from 2019. 🤦🏻
big fan of modding the build engine and doom
You know DOOM wasn't like this for stylistic reasons but technical limitations, right?
yup
Also, sprite shit has been done to death and back.
I'd much rather see *retro* low-poly stuff.
For example, movies are moving on. They used to be obsessed with the 1980s, they're now doing the 1990s. Meanwhile, in gaming, it's like "16-bit or die!!!".
well I don't play a lot of games and I am sick of most modern games. I find I have a bunch of fun playing Brutal Doom, Dusk, Shadow warrior, ect
BORING, really stale.
I like DOOM, I've played the original one.
I much rather see that game be some kind of "Quake-clone" or something.
well what would you reccomend?
Low-poly retro stuff should kick off.
right I get that but what do you like?
I'm a motorsports and sports fan in real life so that heavily influences my gaming too, I guess.
I feel like some classic low-poly GTA clone could be great fun.
The PSX and PS2 days were incredibly fun and creative, just technologically-limited, studios haven't tried that era.
Lonely Mountains seem to have a great visual style, I hope the game is worth a shit.
The team have included a cartoon-style low-poly visual style, it's rather neat.
You could apply this to a ton of games, even with realistic proportions.
Turns out the FIA Truck Racing game has FOURTEEN tracks (8 official plus 6 extra) and 2 classes (official and some US-style stuff). Tracks:
· Misano, Hungaroring, Slovakiaring, Nurburgring, Most, Zolder, Le Mans & El Jarama
· Laguna Seca, Óscar Gálvez (Buenos Aires), Fuji, CotA, Winton & Mosport
It's quite a shame they only offer 1 layout per venue. Also, Nurburgring is only the shorter version, the one DTM uses/has used. Le Mans is, of course, the MotoGp one.
