If I spend every day of my life working out my right arm, and only my right arm. Then, while not a guarantee there would be an increase chance of my kinds having a right arm beefier than their left one. Or it would beef up easier if they worked out themselves.
not that they would be more muscular because i exercised.
For example, starvation can induce thinner heads in offspring, but that's not passing down being skinny, that's inducing a completely separate trait.
but if I worked out a lot, even if nobody before in my genetic life. My kids would have a greater predispostion for hashtag gains
Is there a citation for that?
No I said that was my extreme layman's understanding based on light independent study.
lol
If you wanted more muscular kids one way of doing it would be myostatin attenuation.
that sounds like something Alex jones sells.
I very much doubt that he does.
That was supposed to be a joke.
Did you know he was a body builder back in the day?
I did not.
I love all the hilarious and wacky shit he says.
You can kinda see it when it takes his shirt off (which is pretty frequently) he's got that gone to seed look
are those real
Imagine creating a product that genuinely reverses ageing and using Alex Jones to market it.
What is should really do is be a consultant to celebrities.
I know right? zero credibility
It would be hilarious is it actually worked.
but i was saying he should consult with therapy because he is the master of rolling with the punches
When they start laughing at you FORCE them to laugh with you.
There are a lot of celebs who could stand to learn that lesson.
@Oliver Starley weight lifting causes BDNF release, and actually increases the volume of the hippocampus even in the elderly, which normally just keeps on shrinking. If you don't ever want to get Alzheimer's keep that shit up into your old age.
They start making fun of him and he's like "Oh yeah, that's hilarious I'm alex "the meme machine" jones keep em coming.
It's not perfect but it's a great way to reduce your risk.
Failing at two years of weight training was a bad thing for me.
Took nearly a lifetime to unlearn that mistake.
?
Talked about this when I was drunk
When I was 17/18 I did a lot of weight training because there was this girl I had a crush on.
First girl I every though could tolerate my low self esteem ass.
But no gains. Two solid years nothing.
Now while this was in 98 or so. I was doing all the right things. For 98 anyway.
Turns out the real problem was my testosterone was a fifth of what it should have been
but betwen depression, teenage embarassment, and an uncaring medical field I didn't get that issue treated until 18 years, and entire freakin' life time later.
And it wouldn't happened at all if it weren't for my wife, the Candiru.
Should've eaten more oysters
Even without gains weight training does an absurd amount of good for you.
