There used to be a differentiation between an Alpha and a Chad.

Or someone who is physically an Alpha, but lacks certian personality traits and social skills. Generally making up the difference in implied or actual physical violence.

It's hip and cool to hate what the preceding generation hates. You can kind of start to see it now with Generation Z and their apparent dropping acceptance of the LGBT, generally pro-conservative attitude.

It's surprising that it's happening this quickly though, normally it can take decades for the switch to really occur on such far reaching things.

I think the Internet has something to do with it. And the blatant propaganda pushed on my generation. I also think that some of these drag-queen kids are gonna leave that life and become right-wing extremists.
