It's unfortunate that children would be taken advantage of. And they wonder why the youth are acting like heathens.

2019-05-20 14:44:58 UTC

Children are gay

2019-05-20 15:51:53 UTC

That’s not nice

2019-05-20 16:07:13 UTC

What's not nice

2019-05-20 16:35:26 UTC

Has the term "woke" shifted meanings and is now used ironically? Or is it still being used unironically? Is redpilled a better term?

2019-05-20 16:47:27 UTC

Redpilled is the term.
Woke is the left's version of being redpilled

2019-05-20 16:57:39 UTC

Ah so they're using it unironically and we use it ironically.

2019-05-20 16:57:52 UTC

Man no wonder the left can't meme

2019-05-20 16:58:27 UTC

They truly can't.

2019-05-20 16:59:18 UTC

Unironically using "ebonics" while complaining about cultural appropriation is BETAAAAA!

2019-05-20 17:00:15 UTC

I don't feel no ways tirerrrd

2019-05-20 17:00:58 UTC

The more they do, the more people wake up

2019-05-20 17:01:53 UTC

Shooting themselves in the foot. Putting their own idiocy on display... it's great. I feel sorry for the people who still fall for it

2019-05-20 17:02:33 UTC

Ain't nuffin warooonggg wif cookin a lilll feeewwwwdddd

2019-05-20 17:44:52 UTC

The ban hammer strikes again!

2019-05-20 17:45:28 UTC

Oh gosh oh golly

2019-05-20 17:46:20 UTC

Someone really has a bee in their bonnet...

2019-05-20 17:47:06 UTC

fuck the authority

2019-05-20 17:47:17 UTC

Nah authority is good, when it's fair and just.

2019-05-20 17:47:48 UTC

when it's me*

2019-05-20 17:47:50 UTC

fixed

2019-05-20 17:47:51 UTC

It's when people abuse their authority that it becomes a problem

2019-05-20 17:48:34 UTC

I don't think anyone can hold up to my idea of not abusing their position

2019-05-20 17:48:52 UTC

getting paid for example is a problem

2019-05-20 17:49:16 UTC

well, paid unevenly depending on what they do, creating an incentive to push a personal agenda in a certain direction

2019-05-20 17:50:38 UTC

I agree. A leader is supposed to work for the people, not rule based on their personal interests or feelings.

2019-05-20 17:51:39 UTC

I used to be a power-trippy manager of people IRL so I understand. Sometimes you learn the hard way.

2019-05-20 17:52:28 UTC

takes a very special person to recognize yourself changing from gained authority before it's too late

2019-05-20 17:53:05 UTC

idk how many times I've seen people make a 180 turn in personality after getting mod status on discord lol

2019-05-20 17:53:14 UTC

You don't really notice it, the ego takes over. It's when you start getting backlash and resentment from your team that you realize something's wrong.

2019-05-20 17:54:17 UTC

well in your case surely it helps that you've been through it once before

2019-05-20 17:54:23 UTC

A good leader earns respect by doing what's right.

2019-05-20 17:54:25 UTC

you might recognize it again if you find yourself in a similar position

2019-05-20 17:56:08 UTC

a good leader doesn't desire to lead, almost everyone I've met who has had aspirations in title and authority have been sociopaths and desperate losers

2019-05-20 17:56:53 UTC

Exactly. Plus when you don't allow others to question your actions, you know your ego has taken over.

2019-05-20 17:57:42 UTC

Anyone actually, but especially a leader, should welcome criticism. How else do you become a better?

2019-05-20 17:59:39 UTC

guy I'm working with atm that's responsible of the back-end is making it very difficult because I have way more experience than him but every time I tried to make a cooperative effort he got ridiculously emotional because of some weird pride in doing it himself or something

2019-05-20 18:00:02 UTC

lol like a child!

2019-05-20 18:00:12 UTC

spoiler alert: he's 47

2019-05-20 18:00:19 UTC

lol

2019-05-20 18:00:32 UTC

idk what he's been through though, somehow he like graduated comp. sci like 2 years ago :S
