Someone really has a bee in their bonnet...

Nah authority is good, when it's fair and just.

It's when people abuse their authority that it becomes a problem

I agree. A leader is supposed to work for the people, not rule based on their personal interests or feelings.

I used to be a power-trippy manager of people IRL so I understand. Sometimes you learn the hard way.

You don't really notice it, the ego takes over. It's when you start getting backlash and resentment from your team that you realize something's wrong.

A good leader earns respect by doing what's right.

Exactly. Plus when you don't allow others to question your actions, you know your ego has taken over.

Anyone actually, but especially a leader, should welcome criticism. How else do you become a better?

I've come to find that earthly age doesn't matter, some people never grow up emotionally... Look at Earl and T!

Yup. You think you know how the world works and you refuse to consider different viewpoints. That's why the first step for overcoming the fallen state is admitting you are wrong.

That's a hard thing for some people to do

Some people do. They become authors or whatever and are actually better at it because of their life experience

I mean, I personally wouldn't trust a young blues singer for example... what do they have to sing the blues about? When their wifi goes out?

Good ol wholesome entertainment. I used to make fun of it, but I miss it.

They're also brothers, so you know some A&R didn't just throw them together to manufacture the latest pop craze

I found myself unable to enjoy music and movies I used to... so decadent.

Gay means happy, are you implying some sort of derogatory interpretation of the word?
