assuming our current society of course
again
a woman may still want to go for that
but again in the traditional way everyone has something to lose
if a woman has to be a good housewife
then the man has to be a good provider
i also have a problem with the difference in how we raise girls and boys
i believe the whole feminist way of dealing with this is laughable
they want to teach boys to be effeminate
what id say we should do is raise both girls and boys to be "men"
to "grow up"
teach them respect, honor and how to be responsable
because although we do kind of do that with boys
sometimes in a toxic way
we never do that with girls
parents cater too much to girls
and thats not always a good thing
the longer you pamper a girl
the longer it will take her to realize how the world actually works
its a scary place
maybe this is where all of the entitlement we see in todays society comes from
@leuxd As far as I've seen they celebrate getting the vote for women while, the whole time, ignoring the fact that men didn't have the vote. The Suffragettes were filthy rich terrorists who tried to kill people.
they strongly pushed for total war in 1914, and encouraged a full draft
the white feather campaign
Yep. They also were cited as a reason not to give women the vote. Cue them being labelled heroes by documentaries and school textbooks.
By the way guys. I want to know what you think we should call the channel known as <#523922218200203265> that used to be #general? Does the new name for more? Did the old name make it soubd too casual, or does the new one change the meaning too much?
i think "general"works because "debate" has a serious enough tone, but either one works.
@lurking365 hi there, welcome
Hi folks
Good evening Drew
Hello Drew and @lurking365 !
so, who else is starting to feel a real shift in public perception of SJWs and feminism? i feel like a lot changed in the last year, like people are slowly realizing whats going on
i can almost be open about being an MRA in LA, which would have been unthinkable 3 years ago
Around my circles, yes. But I’m not certain about the general population in my state IL or the US.
what have you noticed around your circles?
A shift in perception of SJWs. The term is more commonly used now, even by some in my office.
Many were criticizing the Smollett decision.
thats how it'll start. people may still have negative images of the MRM, but they'll see how toxic SJWs are
Exactly, the hopeful progression.
