assuming our current society of course

2019-05-14 23:50:44 UTC

again

2019-05-14 23:50:51 UTC

a woman may still want to go for that

2019-05-14 23:51:33 UTC

but again in the traditional way everyone has something to lose

2019-05-14 23:51:59 UTC

if a woman has to be a good housewife

2019-05-14 23:52:07 UTC

then the man has to be a good provider

2019-05-14 23:52:55 UTC

i also have a problem with the difference in how we raise girls and boys

2019-05-14 23:53:23 UTC

i believe the whole feminist way of dealing with this is laughable

2019-05-14 23:53:37 UTC

they want to teach boys to be effeminate

2019-05-14 23:54:03 UTC

what id say we should do is raise both girls and boys to be "men"

2019-05-14 23:54:06 UTC

to "grow up"

2019-05-14 23:54:46 UTC

teach them respect, honor and how to be responsable

2019-05-14 23:55:26 UTC

because although we do kind of do that with boys

2019-05-14 23:55:36 UTC

sometimes in a toxic way

2019-05-14 23:55:42 UTC

we never do that with girls

2019-05-14 23:56:07 UTC

parents cater too much to girls

2019-05-14 23:56:12 UTC

and thats not always a good thing

2019-05-14 23:56:27 UTC

the longer you pamper a girl

2019-05-14 23:56:38 UTC

the longer it will take her to realize how the world actually works

2019-05-14 23:56:52 UTC

its a scary place

2019-05-14 23:56:56 UTC

a rough place

2019-05-14 23:57:29 UTC

maybe this is where all of the entitlement we see in todays society comes from

2019-05-15 09:37:39 UTC

@leuxd As far as I've seen they celebrate getting the vote for women while, the whole time, ignoring the fact that men didn't have the vote. The Suffragettes were filthy rich terrorists who tried to kill people.

2019-05-15 14:25:38 UTC

they strongly pushed for total war in 1914, and encouraged a full draft

2019-05-15 14:25:48 UTC

the white feather campaign

2019-05-15 16:25:43 UTC

Yep. They also were cited as a reason not to give women the vote. Cue them being labelled heroes by documentaries and school textbooks.

2019-05-15 16:28:23 UTC

By the way guys. I want to know what you think we should call the channel known as <#523922218200203265> that used to be #general? Does the new name for more? Did the old name make it soubd too casual, or does the new one change the meaning too much?

2019-05-15 17:20:44 UTC

i think "general"works because "debate" has a serious enough tone, but either one works.

@lurking365 hi there, welcome

2019-05-16 04:54:07 UTC

Hi folks

2019-05-16 04:55:01 UTC

Good evening Drew

2019-05-16 10:56:25 UTC

Hello Drew and @lurking365 !

2019-05-16 14:35:50 UTC

so, who else is starting to feel a real shift in public perception of SJWs and feminism? i feel like a lot changed in the last year, like people are slowly realizing whats going on

2019-05-16 14:36:10 UTC

i can almost be open about being an MRA in LA, which would have been unthinkable 3 years ago

2019-05-16 14:37:37 UTC

Around my circles, yes. But I’m not certain about the general population in my state IL or the US.

2019-05-16 14:57:36 UTC

what have you noticed around your circles?

2019-05-16 14:58:25 UTC

A shift in perception of SJWs. The term is more commonly used now, even by some in my office.

2019-05-16 14:58:40 UTC

Many were criticizing the Smollett decision.

2019-05-16 15:05:35 UTC

thats how it'll start. people may still have negative images of the MRM, but they'll see how toxic SJWs are

2019-05-16 15:40:45 UTC

Exactly, the hopeful progression.
