@bobthethird The Harvard study and others kinda show that the pay gap is about hours worked and the job. Men tend to work full time and do overtime. Women tend to be part time and not do overtime. If you do a flat average that includes the CEO you get a pay gap. We talk about an earnings gap instead because there are reasons that women work fewer hours - for example, starting a family. There is an issue with jobs not wanting to employ pregnant women because they might quit or be unreliable. It's pretty much all based on personal choices, is what I'm saying.
