Are fraternities worth joining in college? I'm in college and being asked to join one.

yes there is an application fee going up to about $400
If it's a well connected fraternity, with lots of older members who are in management positions in companies where you'd like to work

I figured as much, i asked the current members about any other costs after that intial fee and they avoided the question, can't find much information online about it either
