@YuriBezmenov @0supahgatovian11 my recommendation is to focus on your A+, Net+, Sec+, and CCNA certification so you can get your foot in the door at an IT job. You can take classes online after that.
Please don’t pay big bucks for college and please don’t borrow money to go to school.

you can study those certs on your own

2019-10-06 18:46:17 UTC

@conker just watched the vid and man, I remember when I was taking my intro class to cpp I managed to get a letter C grade. At that time, I didn't study that much and I mostly wasted my time on useless videos on youtube or I watched porn and fapped. I know I have to change. I'm currently learning cpp again on Udemy and I'm trying to get my act together. I guess only time will tell for me. If all else fails, then I'm just going to get into accounting but I know I probably won't like it. Since I am MGTOW, I have the freedom to choose any path but I got to admit that I am scared. I am scared of the future. I don't want to end up homeless. I am currently 23 yo and still live with my parents. I want to help my parents out. Sorry if I'm ranting. Its just that I don't have any IRL friends and yeah. This is my only outlet for friendship and to vent out

2019-10-06 18:47:34 UTC

@_KATO_ that's what I was thinking of doing as well. I like learning at my own pace so yeah. The internet has made college partially obsolete.

2019-10-06 18:53:32 UTC

@0supahgatovian11 dont worry about letting off steam. A lot of us in our early 20’s can relate.

2019-10-06 18:55:32 UTC

thanks man, appreciate it

2019-10-06 19:01:29 UTC

@0supahgatovian11 you will probably start out with desktop support positions and that’s fine.
That’s where you learn the foundations.
You can move into higher level jobs as the years go by. You will be able to talk to people in different fields and watch what they do.

2019-10-06 19:01:59 UTC

Desktop support guys are into gaming and building PCs so you will make good friends

2019-10-06 19:02:16 UTC

They are young like you so it will be perfect

2019-10-06 19:02:36 UTC

Tech isn't easy but it's so much better than doing unskilled labor

2019-10-06 19:02:44 UTC

Yes true

2019-10-06 19:03:02 UTC

I have a friend who does nothing but work and he makes 11 an hour

2019-10-06 19:03:43 UTC

I have a relative that spreads concrete. He gets paid in cash and it’s not steady work .

2019-10-06 19:03:55 UTC

No way to build a career

2019-10-06 19:05:19 UTC

Once a young man starts an entry level tech job they should start a vanguard account and put money into dividend stocks on a monthly basis. Retire when they want to, probably early.

2019-10-06 19:06:05 UTC

That’s good advice for any working man period

2019-10-06 19:06:06 UTC

You can retire young if you don’t have an ex wife and three step kids to pay for , haha

2019-10-06 19:06:14 UTC

I agree

2019-10-06 19:06:26 UTC

Yeah I just started using budgeting software to help with that

2019-10-06 19:06:35 UTC

Otherwise I spend too much

2019-10-06 19:07:02 UTC

Young guys are using the robin hood app too. It looks cool for investing

2019-10-06 19:07:15 UTC

lol im using acorns

2019-10-06 19:07:17 UTC

I spend about 900 - 1200 on living expenses

2019-10-06 19:07:25 UTC

I use gnucash - free, open source, no one sees your data

2019-10-06 19:07:45 UTC

Oh cool

2019-10-06 19:08:08 UTC

@Nawalter Jizney good you keep track

2019-10-06 19:09:10 UTC

Do you invest in anything but index funds

2019-10-06 19:09:36 UTC

That’s transportation and recreation included, if I go over that it’s business

2019-10-06 19:09:43 UTC
2019-10-06 19:10:51 UTC

It might go up in a few months since I’ll get a super nice bump in pay do to stuff I’ve been working on

2019-10-06 19:11:11 UTC

those ideas of just starting in desktop support

2019-10-06 19:11:16 UTC

it really depends on where you want to end up
