There is no way you pull a gun and then t ends up in your pocket
@shinjitsu you took a course on torts?
Yeah it was a business law class
o fukkk we big brained up in here
I was going to go into law but decided against it
Shoulda stayed in law
We need people to fight the chosen in the courts
Science degree is so much cheaper and has funding for grad programs though
Becoming a lawyer is like $200k
Imagine if all scholarships were only for worthwhile degreez
Especially govt funding
Ikr imagine how much funding there would be
More like imagine how few people would be getting assistance for degrees ;P
WHICH WOULD BE FINE
If I were a leader I would make non practical education illegal because it is a net drain on the economy
Yeah imagine if we privatized student loans
Would be real nice
College prices would drop
We have private student loans?
I mean the government not giving loans to people getting degrees who will never be able to pay them back
you could always get a loan from a bank tbh. maybe at worse rates but still
They're way worse than govt student loans. Interest rate on govt loans is really generous
Like as in no federal loans
Right but it's so easy to get government assistance for people who couldn't get private loans
^
And like, it shouldn't be easy to go to college
Close to half of Americans go to college now, right??
That's dumb
College itself is a big dumb meme
europe does college right tbh
Yeah. No private company will give a loan for some bs degree
Hard disagree
Now the thing is, most good paying jobs need a degree, even a dumb one.
Like my liberal arts school (I'm in Comp Sci and it's pretty legit) is like 'you can get any job with any degree!!!' and I'm like 'lol nope'
I like how you can get loan forgiveness for being a teacher in the US
Imagine being a high school teacher
And teachers bitch about low wages
I had a friend who wanted to be a teacher. The dude was massively jacked up on how virtuous he felt about it
Yeah it’s fucking cringe
He taught black kids inner city at first
