The air was cold and still the mud was up to our ankles. My suit of armor kept me some what warm, my soldiers armor didn’t hold off the coldness as well. We didn’t have time to be cold another trench crossing was 15 minutes away.
A Trench Soldier walked up on the right. Trench Soldier: “GENERAL SIR THEIR ARTILLERY IS FIRING!”
Nomad:”ALRIGHT STAY DOWN UNTIL ITS TIME TO GO AND RUN LIKE HELL REMEMBER I AM ON THE LEFT FLANK IF SOMETHING HAPPENS “
Trench Soldier: “YES SIR”
The flashes of the T2H artillery could be seen over the horizon, and the thud of the explosion when the laser shell hit the ground was immense. There was a quietness over everyone as we were 5 minutes away. This was my charge to lead I hope this doesn’t end badly.
The Observer: Hello I am the observer the gatherer of people's story from all across as you read to hear these next events are a flash back.
