at least with algerbra you can verify it. with trig it's pretty hard to verify
Accurate
oh sine law is annoying but cosine law isn't bad
if you are given 2 side lengths and an angle of the missing side than you can use a calculator in 1 press
Yeah I remember that they weren't too bad. I just did them over the summer, so I should be fine.
you in hs or
Yeah, i'm taking a concurrent enrollment trug class though.
We only have 3 tests and they are 60% of the grade. Kinda scary, but we'll be fine hopefully...
But yeah I think I remember what you mean.
ooooh 60% of the grade
I didn’t do bad in trigonometry surprisingly
Like if you have angle 27° with the side across as 10 ft and the hypotenuse of x or whatever you can do sine 27 = 10/x
I just remember doing the sine and cosine law. Trig ratios. And referent angle
Is that what you mean here?
oh not soh cah toa
Oh.
It’s SineA/a = SineB/b = SineC/ c
Oh
I think I remember now.
Yeah this one was annoying as hell
eh I’ll just put it will be 0.022 mm/hr at 6.667 hours just to be safe
I have trig to do in a bit, so i'll ask y'all if I have questions on it
The cosine law I forgot but it is basically Pythagoras if it isn’t 90degrees
I just did a trig unit not long ago so it’s pretty fresh in my mind
You in hs too?
Yeah
Currently doing parabolas but still remember trig pretty well
Ugh. Conics suck
They drive me crazy. There's a lot of memorization when you get deeper into it.
what's conics?
Parabolas, hyperbolas, circles, ellipses, and I think there's another but I can't remember it.
They’re really easy if you use your calculator and program in the formulas
Idk what hyperbola and ellipses are
I might be able to recognize the shape but
<:Nervous_Monkey:797288817115267082>
you kids are genius
that's a complicate way of illustrating the shapes tho
10/10 would recommend using a programming software when you start drawing graphs on the x-y-z plane
Oh yeah definitely
