I truly think that Trump was hoping that it would have gotten worse and could have justified Martial Law. And then in response to the concerns of millions of voters that the election was fraudulent that he will order the military to conduct the election again (just as General Flynn described in a few interviews).
Now, of course, those "redo elections" would be held only in the Swing States that Trump lost and they would be conducted, at least in part by the military. Then quickly have Trump Electors sent back to Congress and he continues on...
This, of course, would have meant the end of the oldest Democracy on the planet - But then, all others have failed. Why do we think it can't happen to us?
I tried to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and wanted to believe that his calling all his Cult Members to DC and then getting them all fired up was just an attempt to remind the GOP just how significant political capital he still had, even after losing an election. But then, who are we kidding.... everyone knew that already. He was well on his way to being the "GOP King Maker" for the foreseeable future - all that Wednesday ultimately did was force some in the GOP to distance themselves.
And... also.... Trump doesnt want to be the "king maker" he wants to be the Fucking King, period.
