for Brian Sicknicks, they need the video, or they wont get anyone
You want to see another bad one? Go watch the officer nearly crushed to death as his ribs break and rupture his lungs.
As he screams.
Be forewarned, it's disturbing.
I highly doubt that the Capitol surveillance system didn't catch it. More than likely they want the vids from people because they don't want to reveal the level of sophistication they have in their cameras and facial recognition etc.
for the officer being dragged, as horrible as it is, likely it would be hard to charge attempted felony murder the person who is sanding far away in the corner....
and it looks like a couple people were actually trying to help, so they may plead out. Rest are conspiracy, quite reasonable.....
not sure what min/max sentences all those carry
I haven't seen it yet. Although something tells me that I am going to see it soon whether I want to or not
Dont forget @Maw, that what you charge you have to prove in court, which is why I brought in "beyond the reasonable doubt"
link? for the officer video?
but when you have a video like that, its pretty damming with a jury, so unless you can say "I went to front line and begged them to stop and begged them to leave the officer alone, and tried to fight them.....
they dont have to release this to the public, it can be presented and sealed in court
I can't link it here.
ok, maybe not before bed.... i'm not big on people screaming in pain
It's very easy to fracture ribs though.
and its one of the more innervated and painful area of the body
Facebook and Twitter should have purged these people years ago
It happens almost every time in CPR, so just imagine that while you watch the video, and you'll be able to imagine the pain he's in.
But you were asking if there was a video for it. And I gave you a reason why they probably aren't. I wasn't speaking about court however if they can get ahold of a Cell phone video that would work just as well or multiple and they wouldn't have to risk the national security implications if the judge refused to seal the video
The capitol will not likely release footage of the incident until after the investigation is complete and charges are about to be brought.
There is that too.
I think I was commenting on your comment that they will CHARGE them with felony murder, and saying why its actually unlikely .... and how it would be nearly impossible to get "all the people in the room"
this was your comment
"Ever wonder what it's like when 20-30+ people get charged with felony murder of one person?"
exactly what you said
Yup!
And I stand by it.
Either way, this is a situation where Felony Murder makes sense.
I also wonder what the timeline between the 2 officer down calls and the ois inside the Capitol
no, they wont charge 20, or even 10 for 1 person...
no, they wont get charged with "felony murder"
and its highly questionable what would be the charge on the officer who got dragged on video, but at best its attempted murder and conspiracy
If the OIS happened just after 2 radio calls of officer down it would add clarity to the reason the officer inside the Capitol shot Ashli Bobbitt
and I'm explaining to you why its not the case for the riots
And I respectfully disagree. We'll just have to see what happens.
if there is no clear video of the officer who got hit with the fire extinguisher, they may be out of luck there too
Guarantee you there is.
It happened in/on the capitol grounds.
and you can even ask Robert how unlikely it is (your exact phrase)..... but I doubt he reads the chat here
I am Robert's mod. I meant ask him for his stream tomorrow!
IF there is a video, and they can trace the person and do facial recognition, they likely will get murder 2-3
I didn't know he had mods.... why haven't you modded the heck out of me?? I'm always the troublemaker
Because you've not broken rules? lol
