Just a week ago the people in that building voted to steal hundreds of billions of dollars from those very working class occupiers and give it to special interests overseas.

2021-01-11 17:03:27 UTC

Well you are certainly entitled to that opinion. But, again, my point was there is a clear distinction between your local Walmart and the US Capitol with respect to their importance to our democracy.

2021-01-11 17:07:49 UTC

There’s no intellectual honesty if they side with the extremists actions ofc 😂

2021-01-11 17:08:11 UTC

One can generate revenue and the other takes it form the people because the government can’t generate revenue and gets its funds from taxes.

2021-01-11 17:09:43 UTC

I think it’s absolutely imperative that democracies hold sacred first the people over the institution. A democracy loses all of its value as a system of the people if not.

2021-01-11 17:10:14 UTC

But that’s the Thomas Jefferson in me. He’s seeming more and more naive with every day that goes by.

2021-01-11 17:10:46 UTC

Declaring Joe Biden the winner of the election was putting people over institution. Violent thugs disrupting the process to murder and mayhem violated both

2021-01-11 17:12:42 UTC

@Dedkraken you are using a racist dogwhistle

2021-01-11 17:12:45 UTC

stop saying violent thug

2021-01-11 17:13:38 UTC

I thought conservatives said all races helped them violate the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power?

2021-01-11 17:13:55 UTC

A rainbow of violent thugs

2021-01-11 17:14:00 UTC

wow

2021-01-11 17:14:05 UTC

how homophobic of you

2021-01-11 17:15:51 UTC

Your last few responses to me seem to be suggesting I am of a position which I am not and you could not logically assume from my statements.

Not once did I say or suggest that democracies should not hold their people scared. I mean.... "We the People...." come one.... of course the people are scared in this system.

Its a system of self governance..... the power that the "government" hold was given to the "government" by "The People"

So "We the People" are the core of this Democratic Republic.

I would really appreciate it if you would stop incorrectly stating my positions for me. If you feel you are confused on what I meant, then by all means ask and I will clarify

2021-01-11 17:16:21 UTC

I’m not homophobic I have no problem with those terrorists patriotically circlejerking each other. I just don’t think being in the capital killing people was a good choice for venue

2021-01-11 17:17:09 UTC

How the fuck is that homophobic?

2021-01-11 17:17:28 UTC

woah chill with the kinkshaming bigotry

2021-01-11 17:18:33 UTC

Corporations pulling support for gop candidates that supported insurrection and fake fraud claims delicious. It’s going to be a fun midterms

2021-01-11 17:18:50 UTC

Let me clarify. If you are not willing to defend small businesses from violent rioters with the same vigor as the Capitol building, then I would say you hold the Capitol building as a more sacred building worthy of better protection than private businesses they are intended to serve.

2021-01-11 17:19:03 UTC

"kinkshaming"? Are you now implying that Homosexuality is a "kink"? Because that actually WOULD be a Homophobic statement.

2021-01-11 17:19:42 UTC

Ok... and who do think is opposed to that position?

2021-01-11 17:20:27 UTC

Probably me and a small percentage of Americans.

2021-01-11 17:20:41 UTC

I do find it hypocritical though.

2021-01-11 17:24:27 UTC

I agree with this. If the issue is with the system then take it out on the system. Not the people that the group claims to defend or protect.

2021-01-11 17:25:32 UTC

So wait... you are opposed to defending small businesses from violent rioters? Or is this just a sliding scale where you put property damage of a walmart on the same level as an attack on the Capitol prohibiting those in it from doing their Constitutionally mandated job?

2021-01-11 17:30:03 UTC

Small businesses were defended with far more violence and arrests though. You are pretending they did nothing 😂

2021-01-11 17:30:14 UTC

?

2021-01-11 17:30:19 UTC

not one unarmed protestor was shot by police

2021-01-11 17:30:27 UTC

only in the capitol building

2021-01-11 17:31:07 UTC

The protestors in the capital were armed

2021-01-11 17:31:41 UTC

yeah they had two arms

2021-01-11 17:31:46 UTC

the woman who was shot was unarmed

2021-01-11 17:31:51 UTC

all the people around the woman was unarmed

2021-01-11 17:32:11 UTC

Unarmed and breaking into a room with citizens to let armed violent mob in

2021-01-11 17:32:20 UTC

Sounds like a real winner

2021-01-11 17:32:20 UTC

Their constitutionally mandated job is no more important than the local jeweler that sells jewelry to put food on their table. I am saying that if it’s an act of terrorism to riot on the Capitol building for political reasons, then it’s equally a terrorist stack to riot on the jewelers store for political reasons.

2021-01-11 17:32:53 UTC

@Dedkraken any unarmed protestors get shot by police while doing their looting? nope

2021-01-11 17:33:53 UTC

Government: *shoots rioter in cold blood *

Biden: “everyone knows if this were BLM it would be much worse”

2021-01-11 17:34:14 UTC

They arrested hundreds and attacked many more

2021-01-11 17:35:06 UTC

The only thing that has stopped BLM mass murder is not doing something like breaking into the capital
