He has been connected with protests surrounding police violence. But then, as you noted earlier and I agree that those two things do not always correlate.

@JD~Jordan in fact Mr. Gruler is a criminal defense lawyer and deals with big city police and I believe that he has seen big problems. I will take that to heart I believe what he says it is not just his occupation. However there is a chance that many that are on the chat could trust their local law enforcement more that what he does. We are all from different areas of the country with different issues/problems. With that said I don't think you can be throwing all the Trump supporters in the same bucket of your confident statement. Fact there are bad cops. I give you that but to say 1/4 or 1/2 well now you are straying from fact.

And I really don't see the point in all this.... My original comment was to underline the fact that "blind loyalty to police" was not something that all Trump supporters shared in common. And this group is an especially good example of that fact. Just because a person is a Trump supporter does not mean they are also blindly pro-cop.
