2021-01-16 04:03:47 UTC

@Maw So by that you mean the phrase "the people" that is used in the 2nd Amendment means the exact same when the phrase "the people" is stated in the 1st and 4th Amendments?

2021-01-16 04:04:54 UTC

Ive answered your questions when asked... Im asking now, if you don't mind. And I would appreciate an answer from you both

2021-01-16 04:05:10 UTC

What are you getting at?

2021-01-16 04:05:26 UTC

2021-01-16 04:06:10 UTC

It's literally called the bill of rights.

2021-01-16 04:06:13 UTC

It seems obvious to me and I have responded to each of your questions... both of you when asked.... but you don't feel it appropriate for you to return it?

2021-01-16 04:06:26 UTC

its obvious youve set up a rhetorical fork

2021-01-16 04:06:31 UTC

2021-01-16 04:07:51 UTC

@Joe Snow gotta try harder than that

2021-01-16 04:07:58 UTC

2021-01-16 04:08:11 UTC

2021-01-16 04:08:21 UTC

Please don't lol

2021-01-16 04:08:22 UTC

Pretty sure i promised id try not to

2021-01-16 04:08:34 UTC

Lol

2021-01-16 04:08:46 UTC

Soo... either the phrase "the people" means one thing in the entire Bill of Rights or it doesn't. I am asking you both which of do you think is accurate.

Does the phrase mean the same thing in the first 10 Amendments or different things. We can focus specifically on the 1st, 2nd and 4th... for simplicity sake... if you wish... but its entirely up to you.

2021-01-16 04:08:54 UTC

Depends on the IQ temperature in the room tho

2021-01-16 04:09:28 UTC

@JD~Jordan it depends on what "is" is

2021-01-16 04:09:38 UTC

youre seriously just getting into pedantic games

2021-01-16 04:10:15 UTC

"the people" is too granular and depends on the sentence its used in quite obviously

2021-01-16 04:10:21 UTC

I mean it's different (holy deja vu there for a moment) based on if the bill of rights is saying something is an individual right, limiting federal rights, or delegating rights to the state (e.g: the people)

2021-01-16 04:10:55 UTC

There are positive and negative rights.

2021-01-16 04:11:16 UTC

Go read the fucking Amendments... 1st, 2nd and 4th.... each contain the phrase "the people" do you think it means the same thing in all of them or not...

Its not a fucking trick question.... Its not a gotcha. I am trying to understand your positions.

Ive answered all of your questions... I ask you guys 1 and your run like my 8th graders that forgot we were having a test

2021-01-16 04:11:20 UTC

Whats the question here, yall? ...i know everything so i could prolly just answer it for u guys

2021-01-16 04:11:34 UTC

(Jk lol)

2021-01-16 04:12:29 UTC

@Joe Snow hes trying to say the 2nd amendment doesnt count

2021-01-16 04:13:06 UTC

I absolutely see what you mean by that... so let's narrow it down. The 1st, 2nd and 4th... does the phrase "the people" mean the same thing?

Or make it easy... are they all taking about "the SAME people" (obviously this has nothing to do with slaves or not citizens - its not a trick question)

2021-01-16 04:14:25 UTC

When the 1st Amendment says "the people" is it talking about the same people that the 2nd Amendment is talking about when it says "the people" and same with the 4th Amendment?

2021-01-16 04:15:00 UTC

I honestly don't know why you ask that question. Is "the people" equal to "the people"? seems like a pretty "HMMMM." question.

2021-01-16 04:15:07 UTC

Like: "Why would you ask me this?"

2021-01-16 04:15:42 UTC

Wow. Ok.

Who are "the people" that is referred to in the 1st Amendment?

2021-01-16 04:15:58 UTC

Citizens.
