What's the point if you're shooting 5.56?

It literally has recoil comparible to a .22

If your gun actually weights something of course

5.56 is more controllable that shooting a 7.62

The m4 carbine is more reliable than the AK-47 shooting 7.62 even though the 7.62 packs a bugger hole than 5.56

I heard the Magpul AFG2 AR-15 angler foregrip is pretty good

7.62 is almost a little much, really.

It offers more balance if I recall correctly.
