bc the history lessons in germany were quite odd

we had ofc history of europe, etc for the most part, industrial revolution, and colonizing of america
and then I think starting at 8th grade, at least one year only about ww2 stuff, and how the nazis came into power ... ofc a delicate topic,
but yeah, they sort of manage to create this guilt button/trigger in the pupils (although it didn't work on me, bc I'm from EE 😛 )

i really liked our history teachers lessons on ww2 because that's how she taught it @Deleted User it was her first year teaching and she didnt know she wasnt meant to tell us the truth, got in trouble when a kid got upset about it and now she doesnt teach it like that
