Combined with high taxes, and the nice weather we have here, the market is always kept high for homes. We have a shitload of people in the state, with very little real estate in which to buy let alone rent

People where I live, are commuting like 2 hours round trip to go to work in the Bay Area

Because people cant afford to live where they work

So you have this massive push of people eastward in the Bay Area. Tracy, Modesto..etc. all being flooded by people who cant afford million dollar homes or $4k/month rents
