If you have firepower as a lone person they can brandmark you as a crazy person. They have more justification to take you out. Also a lone human body doesnt take much punishment to get rid off

I though about permaculture, I think that it was much harder to have atomized small tribes. But thanks to technology, its a lot more viable to have much more self sufficient enclaves.
