For you really young guys out there, stay the fuck away from financial debt as much as you possibly can, but still build credit. Also save all of your money as much as possible, spend when you have 30K in the bank as a buffer and don't go below that.

I tried building credit and just ended up with an even worse credit score

I mean I'm 22 and I've been in the workforce for 4 years. Currently sitting on 6K credit card debt and no extra money, with nothing to show for all those years making 50k/year. Food is really fucking expensive as well, cook at home to make it as cheap as possible. I'd be sitting on 50K rn if I didn't blow off all my cash.

the absolute worst part of my situation is, I can't act on any ideas I have at all, because I have no money. It takes money to make money, remember that shit. Carve it on your heart.

I know so many people that make more money than me but seem constantly behind. Bad spending habits and the desire to spend their cash on shit that makes them "happy" for about 2 days.

I'll be out of my situation here shortly. Selling my car will take care of it.
