Cool

2019-05-15 08:30:26 UTC

I graduated as an engineer last year, haven't been able to apply for any jobs due to health only now will I be getting into my first job..
Learned Python recently hopefully will get into software development in coming months

2019-05-15 08:31:17 UTC

Software development is what I did, but C++, not Python

2019-05-15 08:31:46 UTC

Got into Python because I was bored, and Python is a cool name

2019-05-15 08:31:53 UTC

Haha

2019-05-15 08:32:30 UTC

I will have to eventually learn C++/C# too, there aren't that many software jobs in Python where I live

2019-05-15 08:33:00 UTC

Even the ones that are Python heavy are only in backend web dev

2019-05-15 08:33:18 UTC

It is important that you know what there are a market for

2019-05-15 08:33:26 UTC

True

2019-05-15 08:33:29 UTC

I started out programming in C

2019-05-15 08:33:48 UTC

I learned basic C back in college

2019-05-15 08:34:08 UTC

So did I, but I worked with it too

2019-05-15 08:34:29 UTC

Can I add you as a friend on here? I think I could get some guidance from you?

2019-05-15 08:35:00 UTC

Sure you can, but I am a bit rusty, I haven't worked professionally in 10 years

2019-05-15 08:35:33 UTC

No problem, I am sure there are tons of things I could learn from you regardless

2019-05-15 08:35:47 UTC

Thanks

2019-05-15 08:36:08 UTC

Probably, if you are going to do backend you need to learn SQL too

2019-05-15 08:37:47 UTC

Yup I will have to.. But sequel is relatively easier so that's not gonna be an obstacle per se..
We should committee this chat in PM I think.

2019-05-15 08:38:18 UTC

*continue

2019-05-15 12:36:33 UTC

I'm confused. People keep recommending the diet detailed in the 4 hour body because it's easier to stick to, and keto because uses fat as energy. Which one works better I'm confused af 😂 I just want the best possible results dammit lol

2019-05-15 12:59:32 UTC

Keto is the most efficient one, but it's pretty meticulous and requires the most effort

2019-05-15 13:00:08 UTC

4-hour is a more lax version that lets you eat a few more carbs and gives you a cheat day on Saturdays

2019-05-15 13:08:05 UTC

*it's hump day*

2019-05-15 13:09:18 UTC

Imo, you can diet easier than that. I assume you're already eating somewhat healthy. Just cut your portions in half and hit the gym. No need for dieting.

2019-05-15 13:27:29 UTC

4-hour also encourages working out, but no cardio

2019-05-15 13:52:23 UTC

cutting portions is only good when losing weight. if your trying to gain, cut out the garbage tier food like cake and fast food.
I've seen people eat almost anything that doesnt contain corn syrup and they're well built.

2019-05-15 13:54:01 UTC

Thanks guys. I'll stick to keto then. I'll have a designated scheduled fruit day as well to satiate my sweet tooth without wrecking everything

2019-05-15 14:44:54 UTC

Why do ppl collect action figures ?

2019-05-15 14:45:20 UTC

I had 100s when I was a kid but I got bored and donated them to charity

2019-05-15 14:45:59 UTC

Video games have made toys kinda redundant

2019-05-15 14:55:56 UTC

It's a hobby like any other

2019-05-15 14:56:27 UTC

I'd collect this

2019-05-15 15:06:58 UTC

@The-Free-Monk decoration mostly id say

2019-05-15 15:08:04 UTC

right then. time to design electrical powerline stuff or whatever

2019-05-15 15:19:10 UTC

or not.. seeing as he doesnt have the work ready for me yet

2019-05-15 15:31:55 UTC

@The-Free-Monk
I don't understand collecting this figure stuff as well
I guess it's sort of a hunter gatherer instinct relict

On the other hand to be self critical
I'm a light data hoarder so I also spent a few 100€ on hdds 😂

2019-05-15 15:32:50 UTC

Hdds just have a giant advantage, they don't need much space
are always ready to transport
And are versatile xD

2019-05-15 15:35:42 UTC

@shadowlessnexus hmm interesting
what kind of electrical powerline design are you doing?
just yesterday I had the idea, I'd it would be possible / how much work it would be to convert most of the devices in the to DC voltage

2019-05-15 15:35:57 UTC

idk whatever new project he puts me on

2019-05-15 15:36:24 UTC

we starting late today i guess

2019-05-15 15:37:54 UTC

I'd find it cool for going off grid
So one doesn't need the inverter anymore
When using solar power and batteries
