I'm only a few weeks into this.

2019-05-27 02:31:59 UTC

What franchises?

2019-05-27 02:32:05 UTC

Sorry late to the party as usual

2019-05-27 02:32:12 UTC

It's all good.

2019-05-27 02:32:25 UTC

I do that shit all the time haha

2019-05-27 02:33:43 UTC

Has anyone heard of "financial independence retire early?"

2019-05-27 02:33:50 UTC

what you guys think of reasoning your life from an absolute truth? like if we assume there is an absolute truth of human being desiring happiness, then if so, what habits do you think lead to happiness?

2019-05-27 02:34:19 UTC

I watched Avengers:Endgame. It was good.

2019-05-27 02:34:20 UTC

@Master Golan star wars, games, going woke and dying. Was saying way earlier how they can die since they are just regurgitated plenty of times now. Like grandpa telling the same story with a different voice each time. Gets tired.

2019-05-27 02:34:35 UTC

I'm using their "safe withdrawal rate." Apparently, if you take your annual expenses *25; that equals your "I can retire now" number.

2019-05-27 02:35:16 UTC

@bigboi Oh this is good! I personally think: You have to succeed in health, wealth, business, education, relationships and maybe spiritual.

2019-05-27 02:35:29 UTC

How you define success is up for debate.

2019-05-27 02:35:40 UTC

There are no absolutes man. Just ferverant ideological clinging saying such.

2019-05-27 02:36:40 UTC

@Deleted User yeah, what you mean by feverant idealogical cling saying such?

2019-05-27 02:36:43 UTC

Yeah... I attended church, had a lot of family/friends and went clubbing/drinking all the time just a month ago but now I am living alone in a new city trying to figure life out.

2019-05-27 02:36:45 UTC
2019-05-27 02:37:59 UTC

Fuck looking for absolute truths. Why do you need this self imposed structure anyway? @bigboi I mean principals and virtues are basicly arbitrary and given by society. To me mgtow is giving yourself your own values and identity.

2019-05-27 02:38:36 UTC

Careful going to church brother, it’s still full of blue pilled men & thots

2019-05-27 02:38:37 UTC

because the reason why i think there may be an absolute truth for what motivates us to do things, is that there must be a cause and effect relationship starting from our brain wiring of which propagates to the actions/ behaviours that we do every day

2019-05-27 02:38:38 UTC

Your own direction and way. GYOW from it all. Not just women and what gynocracy expects

2019-05-27 02:38:51 UTC

@Deleted User for some people, they find purpose in searching for absolute undeniable truths

2019-05-27 02:40:02 UTC

@Deleted User yeah man

2019-05-27 02:40:11 UTC

@Rhunespire I call that existential denial. I see it in people and they are still visibly uncomfortable. Found a meaning but its yet another conditioning.

2019-05-27 02:40:38 UTC

Perhaps

2019-05-27 02:40:53 UTC

There being no right or wrong way to do life is too much I think for many. Freedom is terrifying.

2019-05-27 02:41:29 UTC

Terrifying? Sure, anything worth doing is. But the journey liberates the mind and the soul.

2019-05-27 02:41:57 UTC

Yup. I'm just ok with their being no true meaning and living minimally.

2019-05-27 02:42:07 UTC

Not getting caught up in anything anymore

2019-05-27 02:42:11 UTC

You sound like a nihilist

2019-05-27 02:42:19 UTC

i mean i think it's nice to know that your beliefs are built open facts and logic, thus leading to you knowing that your actions can be reasoned to yourself as being optimal. else one would always think in the back of their brain "am i doing the right thing"

2019-05-27 02:42:21 UTC

Not saying you are.

2019-05-27 02:42:55 UTC

I mean the "right thing" is subjective

2019-05-27 02:42:55 UTC

The journey only gets better as you go your own way, or I’m just weird lol

2019-05-27 02:43:00 UTC

Nihilism is a incontinent truth and it only gets a bad rap because again, it doesnt fill that hole of purpose most have.

2019-05-27 02:43:26 UTC

Why people end up drawn to any kind of authority figure. For structure and purpose.

2019-05-27 02:43:33 UTC

Most dont know that they can give themselves purpose.

2019-05-27 02:43:37 UTC

*inconvenient

2019-05-27 02:43:51 UTC

Hence why the light in the cave is more true than most are willing to admit

2019-05-27 02:44:18 UTC

^true i suppose, but i view nihilism as a way to plan the next step in a world that is, not that wants to be
