theres objectively no point in pre ordering a game. backing a game on kickstarter is a different matter entirely obviously. but pre ordering a game thats going to be available to you anyway is pointless. as well it takes away your opportunity to actually see the state of the game before you buy it.

if you buying a physical collecters editition thats not quite the same. since there is stuff that comes with it
