Hi, I was not aware that the English only rule also applied to the content of a video/gif. I thought it was meant *strictly* for text.

As mods we have to be able to moderate what is posted to the server, as most of us can only read/understand English, this rule is blanket applied so rules can be enforced.

Can you give me an example? I'm not sure what the term blanket applied means.

Everything in the server, gifs, images, captions, etc must be in English.

Laissez-faire is usually more common in smaller community rather than of a big country's government (since most government set regulations)
