I grew up in Germany and I am 100% glad my parents moved back to the USA from the base in Germany 12 years ago... it was starting to go to crap then and now I would be scared to walk the streets of berlin at all without a male armed escort

Damn, that sucks. My moms grandparents moved here from Italy, so I'm glad I'm not living there

yea my mom and dad were military so we lived in Germany because 1 of them was always stationed there and it made life easier not moving around every year
