July first, 2019 at about 9:50 pm, going south on Vermont 91, approximately milepost 110. Far away from traffic or population.
I was on my way home from Northern Maine.
There was a hitchhiker with me, I looked in the rear mirror. I noticed we were being followed.
I alerted the hitchhiker. He said it was probably a car.
It looked more like a single motorcycle light, but orange. I could approximate the the distance behind me at between 1/4-1/2 mile, not the size of a headlight and was oscillating up and down, but it was orange, not white.
The hitchhiker saw it too.
It was just a red-orange light behind us. Orange mostly, and sort of bright.
Then it made a right turn without an exit road, into or above the trees, it had a tail, and just disappeared.
This is the truth.
