My dad left Facebook over a year ago and it was hilarious because he fed it a ton of false information before leaving, he’d put random pictures of people of different races he found on the internet and tag himself in, he would say he moved to Africa, then Asia, then South America and say he was working for a small company in the pacific or something. It was hilarious. He screwed with Facebook’s data so much
I would like to leave Facebook, but all my friends are there and I help run a social media marketing company so I’m kind of forced to. But I don’t put sensitive data on it, at the very least
The only social media I use (besides Discord I guess) is Snapchat and Instagram, and I highly consider deleting them all the time
This is why elections need anonymity. People need to be assured they can vote their consciences without being blackmailed.
Tom Scott isn’t very political one way or the other, but it’s a point he makes in his videos on why electronic voting is a bad idea.
