From what I've seen in the current votes and talks: Most prefer to be a state in US. I personally have nothing against that. But right now, PR is potentially a moderate blue state at best and I personally don't want to add another blue to the USA's state list. But all PR's want sovereignty, but we are currently US Commonwealth. So we are American citizens but we can't vote unless we migrate to the US and get the proper citizenship papers done for proper vote.
@Smash Boy Thanks for sharing. Like I wrote, I wonder, but I trust someone on the ground more than any stories coming from MSM. It would be incredible to witness the union expand in our lifetime...
@PuppyGoat You could easily argue that Trump has gotten more Americans interested in politics than any other President in history. One way or another, by entering into it himself, he has woken people up to the political realm.
To be honest, I was mostly apolitical my whole life. I had centrist libertarian tendencies but I mainly kept it to myself. I mostly engaged my mind in the philosophical and theological intellectual arena and apologetics. I had zero interest in politics. Then came 2016 leftist meltdowns and sjw weirdness and I started to realize that politics is not something I can keep caged in an irrelevant space in my thought for long. So I figured I approached politics on a more philosophical and theological framework, and after that the rest is history. I'm now a paleocon full.
I agree with that. With all these political groups rising (antifa, blm, maga gatherings, etc), and we're ever getting more and more popular political commentators on youtube with huge followings. Isn't Ben Shapiro like.. the largest facebook page?
I had to look that term up 😛 I was the same.. sort of kept on going between libertarian and anarchist for a while, now I have no idea what I am. I took the political compass thing a while back a ago, and it said that I was more left than Ghandi 😛
If it speaks to anything, I just want to see the system work itself out with this whole election fiasco
I'm gonna call it now. There is going to be so much voter fraud found that the supreme court is going to rule that is is going to take too long to do a hand recount, so they will send it to the house and that is where Trump is going to win
