We need to lower the age of gun purchase to 16. Teens need to defend themselves too, you know? Get the proper training and discipline.

You see? This is what I'm talking about. Pistols at 21 but rifles at 18? This is absolute insane. Be consistent, damn it. Equalize the age criteria for all types of firearm and lower it to at least by 16, and give them the proper discipline. Start from small, around 5 with toy firearms, then when the dude is 16, help him or her manage the real deal.

No permit conceal carry is ok here too 😉

Alcohol is different than firearm. Alcohol has some health risks involved that are reasonable for some age restrictions. But firearm? You have a moral right to bear one.
