By refusing to hear this case, they activly say the constitution doesnt matter, and any and all amendments in it are non-existant, meaning that Texas has the full right to cede from the Union and be its own nation
Alito and Thomas dissented saying they believe it mandatory to accept the case
As they had done previously

Let's also not forget the Supreme Court essentially just flipped off 19 states and more than half of the citizens of this country. The sheer stupidity of such a decision cannot be overstated.
